L'Opale Noire

What a great little boutique hotel in a fantastic location! So close to great restaurants, shops, attractions, and the Seine River but not so close that it is noisy. In fact, the rooms are super quiet. The staff is amazing - they always greet you with a smile and ask if we need help with recommendations or reservations. The space is very sexy. My only comment would be that the rooms are a little dark and do not have a lot of lighting. This is probably intentional to maintain that sexy boudoir-type of ambiance, but I am older and need more light, haha! Highly Recommended!

Welcome so warm, drink on arrival on a hot day, Souha especially, was simply wonderful, but they all were. The hotel is beautiful, in excellent location. Some very minor changes needed, bit more light, it is very dark if you are in inner courtyard room, shower screen is needed badly in the shower over bath, no matter how careful you are, you still would flood the floor somewhat, safey aside, not pleasant to have wet mat later. Impossible to do makeup in any sensible way, they need pull out mirror as bathroom window difficult and dark for that, and nowhere else to do that in the room. At that price point, I would expect pillow choices, it was all a bit too synthetic for my taste, but these are minor qualms at this fabulous;ly located hotel in gorgeous area.

We were so happy with our stay! Everything was wonderful! The entire staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating.. Balloons and macarons in our room upon arrival to celebrate my birthday made it extra special. Our king size bed was very comfortable and our room was quiet, brand new and tastefully decorated with excellent amenities. Typical size for Paris. We loved our complimentary in room water and Nespresso. View from our window was a charming Parisian street, nothing special but it was quiet and very safe. You cannot beat the location of this boutique hotel for the price. The restaurant area has such a cool vibe and the breakfast was delicious! We had a bottle of their house red wine delivered to our room after a long day of sightseeing and it was perfectly delightful. Don’t hesitate to book here if you want to be in the heart of Paris, close to everything and love a small boutique hotel! Merci L’Opale Noire!!!

Gorgeous intimate hotel just behind the Musee D’Orsay. Small but well designed bedroom with lovely bed and good shower. Excellent breakfast. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend!
