Workation and vacations: duplex with sea view and close to the beach

Work with the sound of the sea breeze instead of city noise: our duplex apartment in Villajoyosa (fully furnished) is ideal for remote work—whether you’re alone, as a couple, or a couple with a baby. During the day, focus; between meetings, a walk to the beach; and at sunset, ocean views. Since it’s a duplex, it’s easier to separate the work area from the relaxation area. Baby-friendly with a travel crib and high chair. If you have specific requirements (video calls, etc.), we’ll provide you with the Wi-Fi details before you book.

This 70 m² duplex vacation apartment for rent, with fantastic ocean views, is just two minutes from the sandy beach and located in a quiet area with little traffic. is located in a 130-year-old fisherman’s house in the heart of the picturesque old town of Villajoyosa.

The renovated entrance to the fisherman’s house is shared with three neighbors. Our two-story apartment has been completely renovated with great attention to detail. We placed special emphasis on preserving the house’s charming original character. Partially exposed original stonework on the exterior walls, subtly restored beams (ceiling joists), and steps of varying heights on the staircase all underscore this. And the tiles in the Spanish-Moorish Mudejar style add to the home’s cozy atmosphere.

The spacious, light-filled rooms are very rare in the old fishermen’s houses of the historic district. Thanks to the exterior facade of the corner house, which was equipped with windows, we were able to bring in the southern sunlight into Vila Feliz as part of the renovation.

The interior sliding doors on the first floor enhance the apartment’s open feel. Here is the bedroom with a 160x200 cm double bed and a firm comfort mattress, air conditioning with a heating function for winter, as well as an integrated reading and work area, where there is also a flat-screen Smart TV mounted on the wall. The faithfully restored stone wall, the two mirrored wardrobes, and the fine art paintings ensure that both daydreamers and nightdreamers rest well...

The spacious wellness bathroom next door is equipped with an open shower (rain shower) and a freestanding bathtub, as well as a towel warmer and a hair dryer. You’ll find plenty of towels in various sizes in the bathroom cabinet or in the baskets. Beach towels are not included, so please bring your own. Toilet paper and soap are provided.

The open staircase leads to the upper floor. You are now in the living room (the lounge) with a bookshelf and a sofa bed for 2 small children or one adult, measuring 110x180 cm. Here you’ll find an excellent selection of books on world literature, as well as gems printed in Spanish and English. An original wood-burning stove and a small, well-stocked wine rack exude warmth both inside and out. In addition to the comfortable sofa, you can enjoy your favorite music through our high-quality Bluetooth sound system. And for those media emergencies, of course, there’s Wi-Fi.

The folding table with bar stools in the same Mediterranean blue as the ceiling beams invites you to enjoy a cozy coffee or a few tapas with a glass of wine.

La Vila Feliz has a small, fully equipped kitchen on the upper floor (glass-ceramic cooktop), oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, milk frother, a variety of pots, pans, casserole dishes, and bowls, as well as several glasses—including colorful ones—and wine and cocktail glasses. Not to mention the basic selection of spices. The kitchen also houses a washer-dryer combo. Detergents, dishwasher tablets, and cleaning supplies should always be available in sufficient quantities.

On the integrated covered terrace with a small, typical Spanish balcony, you’ll find cozy rattan lounge chairs, a pleasant dining area for four people, and even a Weber grill!

By the way: for cozy evenings, they also provide several candle lanterns.
