Like many areas of New Orleans, the neighborhood is undergoing some renovations just like this house did. Some homes have been completely restored and others are awaiting their salvation! While some spots in the area may look a little rough, we've never experienced any safety issues here and our neighbors are wonderful people!

Tucked in the heart of New Orleans, this Victorian shotgun duplex puts you right in the rhythm of the city - historic architecture on the outside, a thoughtfully designed interior on the inside, and one of the most coveted outdoor setups in the neighborhood waiting for you out back. Whether you're here for a Saints game, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, or just to soak up everything this city does best, this lower unit is your home base.
Living space
The layout flows the way a true shotgun should - room to room, full of character. The interior blends the bones of a classic New Orleans home with a comfortable, well-appointed living space. Room-darkening shades keep things cool and dim when you need to sleep in, while a ceiling fan and central air conditioning handle the city's humidity. A sound system and TV round out the evenings when you'd rather stay in.
Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms are set up with soft linens and inviting beds, giving everyone in your group a proper place to rest after long days and longer nights. The single bathroom features a bathtub, hot water, hair dryer, and a full set of toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
Kitchen & dining
The fully stocked kitchen handles everything from a quick morning coffee to a full dinner spread. You'll find a stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, cooking basics, baking sheet, wine glasses, and a complete set of dishes and silverware. The dining table seats your group comfortably - Trader Joe's is just a few blocks away when you need to stock up.
Outdoor living
Step outside to a fenced backyard that's genuinely rare for this part of the city. Pull up an Adirondack chair around the fire pit, fire up the BBQ, or keep drinks cold in the outdoor cooler as the evening settles in. It's the kind of space that turns a good trip into a great one - private, relaxed, and ready whenever you are.
Getting around
Walk to the Superdome, the French Quarter, and the city's biggest festivals and events. Free street parking is available when you need it, and self check-in via smart lock means you arrive on your own schedule.

This home is pet-friendly, so your furry companions are welcome on the adventure. Washer and dryer, high-speed WiFi, iron, and extra pillows and blankets are all included. There is a private entrance for the unit.
Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.

The property is clean and well maintained. While we were a little unsure about the neighborhood at first, we had no issues at all and found everyone we interacted with to be absolutely lovely and very friendly.The location was a huge plus - close to everything we wanted to do, and a Trader Joe’s, Waffle House, and Ruby Slipper just a short walk away (bonus!). The house has a noticeable downward slope toward the back of the house (kitchen/bathroom), which is worth mentioning. We also had an issue with the dryer during our stay, but the host had a repairman on site within hours - which was impressive and very much appreciated.

The host was a fantastic communicator- any needs we had or questions they responded immediately. The home was very clean and super cute - just as described. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for the great experience !
