Nestled on a private road with direct access to scenic bike trails, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds — peaceful seclusion and proximity to Empire’s charming town center, just one mile away.
Step outside to experience the natural beauty that surrounds you. The property offers private access to both Lake Michigan’s sandy shoreline and South Bar Lake, located just behind the studio. Spend your days kayaking, hiking, or exploring local favorites such as Empire Bluff Trail, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, South Manitou Island, the Sleeping Bear Point Coast Guard Station Maritime Museum, and the iconic Dunes Overlook.
From your private deck, take in breathtaking lake views before heading down the stairs to the beach. Gather around the firepit in the evening for stories, s’mores, and unforgettable sunsets over the water.
Inside, the cozy, family-friendly studio features a mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker (with paper cups, sugar, and creamer provided). Relax on the comfortable sofa and enjoy your favorite shows or movies on the cable-equipped TV.
Please note that this property does not include air conditioning.

No parties or events are permitted.
There is no full kitchen.

- Please respect quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM. No beach fires after 11 pm
-Day guests must be approved by management if exceeding the capacity of 4 guests. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.

We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly. Some items such as grills and docks if applicable are seasonal and may not be available.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.
The owners reside on-site in a separate section of the home with a private entrance. The shared bathroom door connects to the owner’s residence but remains locked from the rental side.
Free parking is available for two vehicles.
