Quiet, peaceful, great amenities, fully stocked everything. A home away from home. Very comfortable. Great renovation.

We really enjoyed our stay in Beachy Sounds House and the lovely unspoilt Carters Beach. The house has been recently renovated and was very clean and comfortable. As mentioned in other posts the kitchen is particulary well equipped if you wish to cook. Plenty of secure off-street parking. Westport is close by for provisions and dining options, but there is a great cafe/restaurant, with outside seating within a few minutes walking from the house. Enjoyed listening to the waves whilst enjoying my breakfast espresso. Suzanne, the host is great (as is her friendly hound Jack!) and on hand to deal with any queries - she was attentive but not intrusive. She let me view the lovely and roomy one-bed studio she has recently renovated. It is also on the property. I noted it too had a well equipped kitchen for being studio sized. The properties are in an excellent location for accessing the beautiful Kawritrei Trail. We only did a short section of it and thought it one of the nicest cliff walks we have done during our trip in NZ. We also played the well maintained 18 Westport Golf Course, which is two minutes from the house. Staff there were both helpful and friendly.
