Location beautiful 🤩

Great location at the beach. Nice, light room, great shower, though a bit inconvenient when you don't want to use the bath/ jaccuzzi. Restaurant Donaldo's is just around the corner for dinner and breakfast.

Very noisy from above. We had room 9, down floors. Bigfoot had the room above us. Bigfoot woke up at 6.30, and so did we.... Very warm room and bed. There's no airconditioning and the fan in the room only replaces air. You can turn the speed up, but then you'll have a draught. The duvet was too thick and warm, for this time of year. We wanted to open the garden door, but because there's no screens but there are sand flies, we had all windows and doors closed at night. There's no descent space to put your luggage, there stuff and furniture everywhere. The closet is full with stuff- extra blankets, pillows, toilet paper, etc. So you cannot use that one, not even to hang your coat. The light above the bathroom sink doesn't work. Makes shaving a challenge, if you're male ;-)

The motel is modern and relatively new with an excellent room layout. The room had sufficient space to accommodate a very comfortable super king size bed which is unheard of in New Zealand. There was a smart TV that I could cast to and catch up with the shows I had missed on my travels.

The property is on a back section and access is through a driveway, signage is easily missed. Gardening was a work in progress with clippings not cleared away.

Location good.

We were in Unit 9 which was seriously dated - cracks on table, chipped paint work, difficult access only from back of unit, TV not working, pot plants dyeing through lack of water and even the clock not working etc etc!! Basically, the whole unit was tired and feel below a reasonable standard
