Excellent property - well maintained, clean and very well appointed kitchen. Would have liked to have had a longer stay it was so lovely

Excellent location, comfort and everything you need for a great stay.

The curtain in the kitchen could not be lowered, so everything could be seen inside the house.

The property had everything you could need and more, with thoughtful extras that really elevated the experience. Nice touches like board games made it feel welcoming and homely. The space was extremely roomy and comfortable. The view was spectacular — easily one of the best parts of the stay. The location was excellent, very close to key spots around Lake Tekapo.

Honestly, the only real downside was that we only stayed for one night! A few very minor maintenance issues: The back door lock to the patio from the lounge was a bit tricky. The front door was also slightly difficult to unlock and didn’t open smoothly. The air conditioning/heater in the lounge took a few attempts to turn on — possibly just needed new batteries in the remote.

This is a really beautiful property with fabulous interior design and tidy garden. 15 minutes walk to center.

Twin room door can’t be closed unless you combined twin bed together. But owner is looking for a better size bed to fit it in. Do not provide towel paper and spare tissue. It is embarrassed only one roll of tissue provided which is not enough for our 6 people’s daily usage. Suggested to prepare a little bit yourself if you have many people. Or, you can message owner, owner can drop off for you.
