Lake Escape-stunning views and close to town

We really loved this place. The rooms were cosy. And the house was lovely. It snowed when we got there so we had fun playing in the snow and making a snowman and throwing snowballs at each other.

Water pressure was a little low but the showers were still hot.

Location was great, stunning view of the lake and close to main shops.

Narrow and steep internal stairs. Only one bathroom/toilet. House was older therefore creaky and noisy if you needed to walk around at night, e.g. to the bathroom which is downstairs. Beds were not particularly comfortable and in the single bedroom off the kitchen some of the slats were broken and others were not in place meaning that there was a gap in the middle of the bed which was not discovered until the morning of the second day. Outdoor furniture was filthy. Originally could not enter property as the door code had been changed.
