About your accomodation Ideally located in the residence of the luxurious Hotel Giardino, this elegant duplex is located on the first floor of the residence’s condominium, which has two levels, an elegantly planted garden and an outdoor pool heated to approx. 25 degrees from April to October. Combining luxury, calm and voluptuousness, it is a haven of happiness for vacations as a couple, with family or with friends. Designed with quality materials, it will bring you all the comfort necessary for a pleasant stay. The apartment also has a private underground parking space, equipped with an electric charging point for your vehicle. Outside, within the PPE, there are 4 places for visitors to the residence. Its proximity to the hotel gives you the opportunity to take advantage of all the hotel services offered by the five-star Giardino, such as the delivery of your morning newspaper, the use of their swimming pool facilities & spa, their kids club and many other services to discover. In the same category, the five-star Castello del Sole hotel, a luxury complex set in a nature reserve and agricultural estate a stone’s throw away, also opens its doors to you to enjoy, as extras, its magnificent outdoor areas, spa (except July/August) and restaurants. The residence is located 5 minutes by car or public transport from the center of Ascona and 5 minutes walk from the lake and the marina Porto Patriziale, where we have a motor boat Sea Ray SPX, also available to our guests on request. Finally, a nice 30-minute walk along Lake Maggiore will take you to the center of the village of Ascona and to Locarno. Fitting out The duplex consists of an open kitchen and a spacious living room, combining elegance and simplicity. The bay window of the room gives access to a warm terrace with a view of the typical Ticinese mountains and the beautiful floral landscape of the residence and the Hotel Giardino. On the same level there is a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a shower. In the mezzanine is the master suite with a double bed and a baby bed (on request) as well as an open bathroom elegantly integrated into the room. In the basement of the residence there is a laundry room and a private parking space as well as an underground passage linking the residence to the Hotel Gardino.  Traveler Access By car: 5 minutes by car from the center of Ascona. By public transport: a bus will take you directly to the residence from the center of Ascona. Distance by car or train: Locarno train station (less than 15 minutes) Lugano Airport (40 minutes by car / 1h40 by train) Milan Airport (1h30 by car /3h20 by train) Zurich Airport (2h40 by car/3h20 by train) Other remarks Possibility to benefit, if you wish and to additional costs, from all the hotel services offered by the five star hotel Giardino (yoga classes, e-bike tour, wine tasting, Spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pool etc…). Please note that the Giardino and Castello de Sole hotels are closed between the end of October and the end of March. At the marina Porto Patriziale, 5 minutes walk from the residence, we also have a motorboat at our guests’ disposal on request. We are at your disposal to facilitate the organization of your stay and to reserve for you tickets for shows, a table at the restaurant, cultural, sports or nautical activities.
