Modernly furnished villa with stunning sea views over Cap d'Antibes in the immediate vicinity of the entrance to Cannes. The small village of Golfe-Juan has a beautiful town centre with many small shops for daily needs and is within walking distance. Golfe-Juan was made famous by Napoleon Bonaparte, who reached the French mainland here on 1 March 1815 after his exile from Elba and began his journey to Paris via the Napoleon route, which started here. There are 2 beautiful harbours (Vieux Port and Port Camille Rayon) with numerous nice restaurants. 2 public beaches (Plage du Midi and Plage du Soleil) with fine sand and clear water complete the picture and invite you to linger. There are also beach restaurants with sunbeds for hire. The small train station in the centre of the village, which is also within walking distance, connects Golfe-Juan with the most interesting places on the Cote d'Azur: Cannes city centre is just one stop away and can be reached in 5 minutes, Nice in 40 minutes and in 60 minutes you are in the middle of Monte-Carlo (Monaco). No stress and no searching for a parking space. Golfe-Juan is also characterised by the fact that, unlike some purely tourist resorts, it is lively and popular all year round.
