Camp Akumal is located in the Jungle in a gated 4 acre complex with 10 upscale vacation rental houses and 2 pools. The property is beautiful and ideal for families and couples, however we are not walking distance to the beach. Our property is an alternative to beachfront all-inclusive resorts. We are set up for vacationers who want to rent a vehicle (or for the more adventurous - to travel by local public transportation) and see everything and do everything. There are so many different beaches, cenotes, parks and historical sites close by that you could do something totally different everyday! We cater towards travelers who are looking for the adventure of a lifetime.
