The town of Apecchio, where you will also find all the main services, is about 5 km away. This area is famous for craft brewers both in Italy and abroad; you can visit them for beer tours and tastings, while some restaurants offer menus with dishes based on local beers. There are trails for hiking, trekking, canyoning and river bathing. About half an hour away is Sant'Angelo in Vado with the unique mosaics of the Domus of the Myth, and a little further there is Mercatello sul Metauro (an Orange flag for one of the best mediaeval boroughs in Italy). In less than an hour drive away there is the beautiful Urbino, an UNESCO World Heritage city.
