Große Wohnung im ersten Stock, mit großem Garten

Large apartment covering entire 1st floor of a sympathetically renovated, Austrian farmhouse, dating from the 1600s. Many traditional features have been retained. Alter Wirt (Old Inn) is located 300 meters from the B95, on the river next to the old Taurach Steam Train line. 4 great ski resorts in under 15 minutes drive. Fabulous also in summer: hiking, cycling, castles, swimming, climbing etc... The whole house was recently awarded ' Traditional Apartments of the Year for Austria - Salzburg' by the British Travel and Hopitality Awards, 2018+21. A large garden surrounds the entire property with full access for guests. These is a slide, climbing wall and swings for children to use. Many items of garden furniture ensure relaxation in shade or sunny positions. The 300+ year old Sycamore is a protected living monument and is over 6m in circumference and as tall as the house. A BBQ / Grill is available for guests' use. Our charming accommodation sleeps 12 people on the first floor, with private entrance through the ramp of the old barn. The apartment contains 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. (Please note that most beds have a foot and headboard, so not suitable for very tall people.) Self-catering in the large kitchen/dining/living room, with all appliances and utensils provided. Cable television and DVD player. Games, books and some toys for children. Bed linen is included, whilst a set of towels can be ordered if required for a small charge (1x small +1x large towel). A cot and many items are available for babies. The steam train line runs by the side of the house, 4 times daily over the summer weekends. Ski storage and boot dryer is provided. Free use of the 2 person infrared sauna. Large garden and dry storage space for bicycles and motorcycles. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
