Solara Arugam Bay

My experience here was very warm and enjoyable. The staff team is excellent, friendly, and always willing to help, which made me feel welcome from the very beginning. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and very pleasant. The property is surrounded by many plants and trees, creating a fresh atmosphere with plenty of natural shade, making it a wonderful place to relax. The facilities are very well maintained, clean, and cared for. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing experience. I had a wonderful experience because I came here with my family. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy peace and tranquility, stay close to the ocean, and fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Es war alles in allem sehr gelungen. Auch die Lage fanden wir sehr gut, wir hatten es schön ruhig, nicht direkt an der Haupt- / Partystraße, jedoch trotzdem nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt vom Zentrum. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch, dass man eine ausgestattete Küche nutzen kann! Vielen Dank.

A bit out of our usual budget, we booked solara as a birthday getaway and it was great. Free parking on site, beautiful rooms with awesome bathrooms. A very relaxed and quiet atmosphere (when we were there) with nice outdoor seating in front of every room. A very short walk to the beach, though the close beach might not be safe if you are not a very confident swimmer. Better off getting a 5 minute tuk tuk into town (uber is readily available) and visiting aragum bay beach, or a longer drive/walk to elaphant rock and the calmer section of the close beach. Staff were lovely and super helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

everything was great. If it’s a bit colder at night or you like to sleep with aircon might be worth asking for an extra blanket as in the current hot weather only a thin one was provided.
