Surf Dream Villa Arugambay

We felt this accommodation offered excellent value for money. It is conveniently located within a short walking distance of both the beach and the main street. The breakfasts were delicious, filling, and varied every morning, which we really appreciated. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and we can highly recommend taking their surf lessons they were a great experience. One thing to note is that there is a mosque nearby, so you may hear the morning call to prayer from the accommodation. If you’re a very light sleeper, it’s worth keeping this in mind. It didn’t bother us at all, and overall we had a wonderful stay.o

One of the best stays I've had! The breakfast alone deserves a special mention — it changed every single day. Fresh, varied, and always a lovely start to the day. The host, Apple is absolutely fantastic. Incredibly attentive and accommodating, always going out of his way to help without you even having to ask. He knows the area inside out, which made it so easy to get great local tips and recommendations. And beyond just being helpful, he's genuinely great company, warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. You feel like a friend, not just a customer. The villa itself is great. Clean rooms, a beautifully kept house, and a gorgeous front seating area with stunning flowers. the perfect place to unwind after a surf session. Arugam Bay is special, and this place made it even more so. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Apple war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und verständnisvoll. Er hat uns beispielsweise mit einem TukTuk zum Bus für unsere Weiterreise unterstützt. Man hätte auch einen Surfkurs mit ihm machen können, das haben wir nur nicht in Anspruch genommen, da wir schon einen im Voraus gebucht hatten. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, es hat an nichts gemangelt. Man ist in 5-10 Minuten an Hauptstraße und Strand. Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert.
