Safety Place - weligama

I recently had the pleasure of staying with a wonderful family in Weligama, and I can't recommend it enough! The double room was perfect, with a kitchen, bathroom, and spacious terrace overlooking the station. But what truly made our stay special was the kindness and warmth of the family. The couple and their sons are a delight, treating their guests with love and care. They made us feel at home since the first minute, even preparing a farewell dinner for us after just two nights. Their hospitality is a true reflection of the authentic and gentle nature of the Sri Lankan people. If you're looking for a break from the tourist chaos, I highly recommend staying with this family. You'll experience the real Weligama, and be treated like part of the family. I already miss you and I'll be back for sure
