Over the hills and far away! Smoky Mtns cabin

Everything was nice.

The entry door was hard to open& the TV was a little difficult to use.

I went during the week and it was exactly what I was looking for. Very quiet and cozy.

Be aware that when you're on the backroads to heed all suggestions. Stay in your lane and slow down. I'm used to driving along hills and curves but this time it was more blind spots than usual. A little info on the drive would be helpful

We absolutely loved how secluded and peaceful the property was. It was very welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind. The listing photos accurately reflected the property, so everything was exactly as expected, which we really appreciated.

There were a few things we felt could be improved. The couches appeared somewhat dirty, so we chose not to sit on them during our stay. We also noticed a very strong cooking aroma when we first walked in that lingered throughout the home. While everyone has different preferences and cooking styles, the odor was quite noticeable to us. Although the kitchen was fully equipped with appliances and cookware, there weren’t any basic condiments available—not even salt and pepper—which would have been a nice convenience for guests. As a precaution, we checked the bed and surrounding area before settling in and noticed that the wooden headboard had a significant amount of dust buildup. That made us question whether other areas, such as corners or behind furniture, may have been overlooked during cleaning, and it left us a little uneasy about possible cobwebs.
