Modern Rustic Countryside Downstairs Guesthouse

Very nice space , loved the pool table for the kids and the bed was comfortable.

Because it’s basically a guesthouse in their basement you could hear every move they made above you, we was awoken to kids running from one side of the house to the other .. there was a few things that didn’t work like the tv in the bedroom had no remote and the fan had a remote but it didn’t work . And no toilet paper.

It was in a great location. It was away from the crazy busy roads but not so far you couldn't go out and enjoy your self after a short drive. Loved being able to enjoy a movie with my friends in the theater style area.

It was not the cleanest. There were a ton of spider webs which I know can be hard to avoid but with the amount of them you could tell it had not had a good deep cleaning. We had to ask for towels because there was only one in the bathroom when we asked we didn't get a response but when we walked outside they had sat them on a table and just not told us which I felt was poor communication. There was only one bedroom not two which was addressed with the host they did offer a partial refund. I did not receive what I feel to be a partial refund but they did send me a small amount for the misleading description and outdated photos. The freezer was also unusable due to being completely frosted over which wasn't a huge issue because we spent most of our time out in pigeon forge. Although I enjoyed the theater style set up the chairs could use a good shampooing we also had to clean out the cup holders. Just a lot of little things that need attention but the main thing being the misleading pictures and description and poor communication. I had booked the home instead of a hotel because it appeared to have plenty of room and keep us from being on top of each other and it just wasn't what we thought we were walking into. The home is beautiful and has great potential just needs some work and updated pictures

It was very peaceful and comfy for us.

The place needs some repairs like the doors are so hard to shut and the floor has some messed up spots in it. It was posted as a 2 bedroom but there was only 1 room so the listing definitely needs to be changed

Didn’t even stay one night. There was so many spiders. And the “cleaners” didn’t even clean. Stains all over the recliners and old food left on the chairs. Totally disgusting.

The location

Wasn’t cleaned at all, the host was no help, the air conditioning was either broken or host didn’t care to turn on. The vents were dirty. No lightbulbs in lamps. Terrible place for my children. I am so upset with having paid for something that was absolutely bad. I have pictures and all.

Absolutely nothing

Everything. The entire place smells like MOLD and mildew. Upon our arrival, the home had not been “cleaned” we waited two hours after checkout time for someone to show up. When I originally called the owner he chose to minimally respond via message. When I asked what should we do while we wait as we’d been traveling and he responded “there’s a bar down the street” He did refund the cleaning fee however the place was never actually clean. The amount of bugs in the place is insane. Don’t bring your dog because the grass is so high it comes to my knees. If you stay downstairs you have no access to the temperature. Only those upstairs. If they even sneeze up there it sounds like a hurricane downstairs. There is not much privacy. On our final night there, our friend awake to bugs IN THEIR BED. We left a day early. This entire experience felt like fraud as I’m not even sure it’s a safe place to stay given the amount of mold and potential rot from previous flooding. I have several pictures of the condition of their property. Booking.com did nothing to help. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Pool table was the only thing that was nice about. The whole trip

No hot water we contacted property she said the guy who installed it was in jail. We had togo to truck stop to shower the whole trip. Spiders everywhere we killed over 24 ants in bathroom. Mold Mildew smell gave us head aches. Beds were like sleeping on boxes. No light outside i fell first night bad. A/c in the garage was horrible hot in apartment.chairs stained looker like puke on them. When intold property they acted like o well i asked for half back they offered 30 a night. DIDNT CARE I FELL. WORSE TRIP EVER.
