Cozy Cabin Hot Tub Gameroom

Very secluded, was a very peaceful place to stay.

Everything was great about our stay.

I loved how it was secluded but not so far away from everything. It was so easy to contact the property owner. We ended up staying an extra night and the owner accommodated nicely. We stayed for 4 nights total. My kids loved the little game room. They stayed in the bedroom upstairs, once they went upstairs we done well to get them to come down. The little cabin was adorable and had everything we needed.

Hot tub and indoor jacuzzi

The hot tub is absolutely the best thing of this place, it is peaceful, warm, and worked quite well, despite missing a cap for the water intake for the jets. There is NO ONE around visibly, and the chances for seeing wildlife are plenty abundant. While it is a tricky drive, you are still very close to the main strip of Pigeon Forge

To get to this cabin, you should be prepared to be driving down windy, narrow, and extremely steep roads. 4x4 is a must have, and add on tire chains in the winter!!! Additionally, there is a spot to turn around, but it will take a roughly 8 to 10 point turn on the side of a steep drop off if you are in any regular pickup, larger diesels should be wary, as backing up the driveway also presents its special challenges, with enough loose impediments to severely diminish your chances of success. The interior of the house as a whole feels…. Incomplete, with a drawer missing in the kitchen, several flooring issues, and a lack of decorations. The beds are subpar, and bolted into the wall to prevent anyone from scooting it out to be able to walk to either side, and the beds additionally have no support on the bottom, meaning that the bed will sink all the way to the ground and crash two people into each other. The bathtub, a major factor for the booking of this trip, proved to be quite slippery, especially when trying to get out onto the tile floor, bathmats should be provided, but we had to suffice with a towel. There is no booklet letting you know how things work around the house (I still haven’t figured out how to turn off the porch lights). And the cleaning crew asked for a tip for doing what is the bare minimum. Which according to my wife was barely met, as the house has a distinct odor that we still haven’t placed. Additionally, they were kind enough to provide some complementary laundry detergent, but due to a failure by the locking mechanism of the washer, we were unable to have clean clothes. I think the funniest thing was their explanation of how to rate, with their suggested reasoning for 4 stars being “There are many issues to fix”. They also state that “if you feel your stay is not a five star do not leave a review and contact us so we can fix the issue and make your experience a five star”.
