Barn Owl

Barn Owl Cottage was stunning from the view as you drive up to the cottage and then entering. The lounge is spacious, kitchen is well fitted out. A dining room and bathroom complete with a storage area is on the ground floor. Upstairs a double and a twin bedded room, all beautifully and comfortably furnished. Quirky layout and beautiful spiral staircase. The cottage/s are pet friendly. The private outdoor space was a godsend, room for our dog to explore but secure in a gated area. Furnished with a table and 4 chairs and 2 sunbeds - all were well used during our stay. The lake was but a 2 minute walk from the cottage. Fishing is exclusively for those staying at the cottage/s (3 cottages in total) The lake is well stocked with many customers returning to Barn Owl to take full advantage of the fishing plus there are lots of walking routes and local places of interest to visit We fell in love with Barn Owl, we visited for 5 days but hoping to return for a longer stay, we will definately be returning! Great hosts who go out of there way to make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We had to come home!!
