About this house rental
Welcome to Une Belle Histoire, an enchanting vacation home that accommodates up to 12 people. From this centrally located accommodation, everything your family needs is within easy reach. Enjoy the culture in the many bastide villages, gourmet markets, local markets, and rural vistas. Located on the Lot River, alongside which runs a “voie verte” (greenway) accessible from the garden. Ideal for walks and bike rides. Shops, bakeries, and other amenities are nearby in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, and the village is just 1.5 km away.
The vacation home is situated on a 1-hectare lot with access to the walking and biking trail along the Lot River at the back of the garden. There are no neighbors nearby, except for the new cemetery, but it is very quiet. From the terrace, you have a view of the adjacent cornfield and the garden that slopes down toward the Lot River. The D911 highway, which provides access to the house, can be heard but is not disruptive from the terrace.
There are 6 bicycles, including 2 women’s bikes, that you can use.
The entire house and grounds are private and for your exclusive use and that of your guests.
There is a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with 2 induction cooktops with a built-in range hood, a dishwasher, microwave, convection oven, and a spacious American-style refrigerator with filtered water, ice cubes, and crushed ice. The kitchen is also equipped with all necessary appliances, including a Nespresso coffee machine, a drip coffee maker, a toaster, a plancha griddle for teppanyaki, etc.
The terrace features a lounge area with umbrellas and lounge chairs. You can cool off in the 10 m x 5 m above-ground pool, which comes with an inflatable mattress and toys for the kids.
Enjoy a cozy outdoor dinner at the outdoor table with 12 comfortable chairs.
The “Une Belle Histoire” house has recently been renovated. We plan to install an in-ground pool and a pool house by the summer of 2026. For now, we’ve installed a spacious 10 m x 5 m above-ground pool as an alternative.
