The Space:

Indulge in an oceanfront getaway today and make this stunning retreat home for a little while. Boasting unbelievable views of the water and coastline from the spacious deck, you will have no trouble breathing in the salty air each morning and night with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Any downtime spent inside will be a treat with luxurious furnishings, a gas fireplace to cozy up beside, and high vaulted ceilings that give the entire space an airy ambiance. The cooks of the group will also be in paradise, as the gourmet kitchen awaits with a wonderful gas range, stainless steel appliances, and beautiful countertops providing ample prep space for any recipe. Not to mention, the high-speed WiFi and cable TVs will come in handy for movie nights or getting remote work done while away!

With such a central location, you can easily head into the main drag of Depoe Bay offering several restaurants, varied souvenir shops, and amazing views from the rocky seawall. The easiest sandy beach access is about two miles north at Fogarty Creek. If you want to venture beyond the immediate area, head 14 miles north for stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and boating in Devils Lake, or go slightly farther north for gambling at Chinook Winds Casino. If you've brought kids, they'll love the educational exhibits and playful sea life at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, while those 21 and older will appreciate a brewery tour at Rogue Brewers on the Bay.

This property was perfect for us! The view and location was amazing. There were whales right in the water off the deck each evening we were there! We could walk to many coffee and dining options. Unit was well equipped for our needs, bed and furniture were quite comfy. We really enjoyed everything about the accommodations. We look forward to a return visit.

Amazing beach views in a very clean and comfortable property. The online photos do it justice. Location is right on highway 101 at the North end of Depoe Bay, easy to walk everywhere in town and central for driving up or down the coast to explore. We would stay here again and recommend the property to others.

Just an absolutely dreamy stay. The pictures don’t do it justice! We watched gray whales feeding 100 yards off the deck and fell asleep to waves crashing on the rocks below. The unit itself is beautiful and relaxing. We were concerned about the road noise from the 101, but even on the busy Labor Day weekend, we couldn’t hear it! Only improvement would be a better stocked kitchen. The knives aren’t great and it would have been nice to have more cutlery, larger bowls, and wine glasses.

If you are considering renting this place, do it! The pictures and descriptions do not do it justice. It is absolutely stunning. Whoever renovated, it had an artistic eye. The interior is beautiful. Of course, its whole purpose is just to enable enjoyment of the beauty outside. The oversized sliding glass doors and plethora of other windows do a great job at that. We literally watched whales spouting and diving outside while sitting in bed. Of course, they are best seen from the huge deck. We sat out there for hours, unable to take our eyes off the view. We realized we were already in the best whale, watching spot in town, to say nothing of the spectacular sunsets over the Pacific. We loved that we could walk to all of the restaurants, particularly Tidal Rave which was less touristy and very close and offering its own view of the ocean. My constructive criticism would be the need for more utensils and glasses in the kitchen. But we got by with what they had. Really just a small detailed compared with the overall mind blowing experience. We stayed eight days and it never got old. I would say we had about 75 whale sightings from the unit in that period of time.

Excellent location with views of the water and walk ability to several tourist shops and varied eateries. A short drive north to Lincoln City where even more shopping, restaurants, and ocean adventures await! Appreciated just sitting on the deck looking out at the ocean hoping to spy a whale! We were not disappointed!!

Amazing view of the ocean from the home, which sits on the coastline cliffs. Very clean, open floor plan. Conveniently located in the cute coastal town of Depoe Bay. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back.

It is a beautiful place to stay with amazing views. Bring your sunscreen and shades for the afternoon sun. We hope the managers will sit down with the cleaning staff to get ready for the busy summer. Simple instructions for the major appliances would be helpful.

Beautiful view and surprisingly quiet for being on Hwy 101. Good location, nicely appointed and very comfortable. Amenities could be updated a bit (towels, glassware, TP) but a great stay, nonetheless.

This was a lovely place to stay - the kitchen is well-stocked, the bed was comfortable and the overall layout perfect for the two of us plus our dog. It is right on the highway, so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, and you do have to drive to the beach. the beach. yo theintsummer.

I absolutely loved the property! The views of the Pacific Ocean were stunning. I went to Depoe Bay to watch the King Tides and I wasn't disappointed. Property is within walking distance to shops and great food. It was very clean and i felt very comfortable. The only downside, for me, was that there wasnt an easily accessible area to walk dogs. There are two green spaces next to the property but theyre pretty steep to get down to.Otherwise, i would definitely recommend!

We arrived late on Christmas Eve (10 pm) after driving nearly three hours in the pouring rain to find a unit that had not been cleaned AT ALL or turned over from the previous guests! The place smelled musty (garbage in the kitchen and wet towells in washer - maybe they'd been sitting a few days?) along with dirty sheets on the bed in a bedroom that had a smell to it, along with unflusehd toilet. I called and reached generic Vacasa customer service that apologized for "the inconvenience," and could not have anyone come clean at that time of night on a holiday (understandably) and couldn't guarantee any type of refund if we stayed. After two hours, they offered to move us to a place with 3.5 star rating that cost half the price with no ocean view and bad reviews of how it smelled; we declined. We drove the many hours back home, arriving home at 3am on Christmas morning. We received a full refund, but no one seemed to care about the impact the situation had. We maintained good attitudes, but it ruined our Christmas and our one vacation for the year. There is no credit for a future stay or any sincere apology for what a mess up this actually was.I reserved the place on VRBO. A few days prior I received communication via Vacasa and learned it was an upper unit - no mention of that in property description on VRBO but clearly describes that on Vacasa.

We stayed here to watch the King Tides and we were not disappointed. The views are fantastic. The house was clean with all your basic needs. I was not sure how to contact the property manager when we left as there was not any clear information as it felt the only way to communicate was through VRBO.

Loved the unit. Needs: more Silverware, kleenex, kitchen towels (I couldn't find any), and a couple of stemless wine glasses would be nice. Typical there is a book that explains how fireplace and tv work. We did manage to figure it out. Loved the kitchen and overall decore. Couch pillows need replacement. The unit view is amazing. Will stay there again when opportunity comes. Loved

Your place is absolutely perfect. I did not want to leave. In fact I thought we had booked through Friday. I was heartbroken when I realized we had to leave today. It was beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you could ever want. We will definitely be back. Our only negative is we didn’t see any whales. ☹️. We do live near the beach in Southern California and do see them at home. So I can’t really complain. Thank you so much!!!!
