Access to the Maison Poème is via a common and private path, quiet, just in front of the Château de Bourron Marlotte.
As soon as you cross the threshold, the charm works: a bright living room welcomes you, with a 4G connected TV, an open kitchen and a convivial dining area, conducive to moments of sharing and relaxation.PGJyPg
The period wooden staircase, boldly revisited, leads you upstairs to the Indigo Sky Room, inspired by the deep and changing shades of twilight — that suspended moment when thought opens up and the imagination unfolds like celestial ink.
A second staircase leads to the Chambre Rose Confidente, a tender alcove, designed as a refuge where sensitivity blossoms in silence.
An intimate, almost secret place, it welcomes those who are looking for a break from the world: a space where you write, where you read, where you listen to your most discreet impulses without being disturbed.
Outside, the flowered terrace will allow you to enjoy your breakfasts in the sun, before exploring Bourron-Marlotte, a village of artists and poets where George Sand, Sisley and so many other beautiful souls stayed.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in a lovely small French town. The location was perfect — an easy walk to the bakery, town market, and around the village. The house was very well equipped for our family and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Our kids especially loved the upstairs children’s area with the books, toys, and drawing supplies — such a thoughtful touch. The stairs were a little steep for our 2 and 4 year old, so we chose to keep them sleeping in the main bedroom with us, but when they’re older they’ll absolutely love having their own special space upstairs.We would happily return in the future and highly recommend this cottage to other families looking for a cozy and memorable stay.

Myriam was a perfect host, she greeted us when we first arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. Checking in and out was easy and the house had a lot of home comforts. It is perfectly placed in a village with a train station for easy access to Paris as well as a very nice bakery and Saturday market. Easy access to the forest for walking, biking and bouldering. We had a really lovely holiday here.

Absolutely perfect, the place is super comfortable and warm, really well equiped with everything you could need and in a wonderful location. Myriam is also delightful and couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be staying here again.
