Welcome to The Green Library – an apartment with an assertive style, where high-end comfort, cozy atmosphere and neat decoration combine to offer an experience in its own right that you will not soon forget.
You will be seduced for sure and will live a premium, timeless stay: 73m2 of elegance less than 15 minutes walk from the train station and 1 hour from Paris by train!
In this apartment, every detail has been carefully thought out. It's not just about decoration: it's a real experience that the owners wanted to create to delight your senses, between high-end comfort, cozy atmosphere and "like at home" spirit.
Close to the city center and shops and located on the 1st floor, the 73m2 apartment consists of:
- Two bedrooms with 160cm Queen Size bed and 20cm mattress from Emma and premium cushions from Wopilo ( adjustable according to your preferred sleeping position)
- A 140cm sofa bed in the living room
- A bathroom with bathtub
- A fully equipped kitchen
The essentials to know:
• Beds made on arrival
• Bath towels provided
• Dish towels provided
• Basic products to start the time to go to the local supermarket to refuel (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee and sugar pods, tablets, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, toilet paper)
• Small independent laundry room with washing machine, dryer and wardrobe to dry or store your belongings
• Reversible air conditioning: although the accommodation does not turn into a furnace in the summer and benefits from a double exposure to create drafts if necessary, you will be able to stay cool and warm depending on the season!

As soon as you enter, an elegant atmosphere settles in and you will hardly be able to escape the "Wow" effect (even after seeing the photos!).
The bright living room is organized around a central element, as aesthetic as it is emblematic: a large bottle-green bookcase that runs along an entire wall. Old books, integrated lighting, board games, flat screen... More than a piece of furniture, it is an invitation to slow down, to settle down, to enjoy.
The living room, in a British chic spirit, mixes a floral armchair, a Tiffany lamp, walls with mouldings and vintage touches to create a warm atmosphere, with just the right amount of personality.
Between this room and the kitchen, a superb workshop-style glass roof makes the transition. It structures the space without partitioning it, and adds a real cachet to the whole.
Inspired by New York lofts, the kitchen mixes (fake!) red bricks, matte black furniture, a kitchen sink and matte pendant lights for the very nineteenth-century industrial side... In terms of equipment, you won't lack for anything!
Everything is there: fridge / freezer, oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine or filter coffee machine, various dishes and utensils... Whether you are a pancake party, a Sunday cake or a comforting gratin, you will be able to give free rein to your desires and your culinary talents! And if you don't have the soul of a chef, don't panic: Uber Eats serves the city of Nemours for the most urban among you ;-)
On the night side: two bedrooms, two atmospheres but both benefit from a beautiful unobstructed view of the beautiful sixteenth century church of Nemours. We warn you, it will be difficult to choose yours!
• The YIN room, brown: warm tones, wood and a touch of gold for an enveloping, very cocooning atmosphere.
• The YANG room, black: a more assertive style, mixing wood, steel and dark walls for an industrial chic atmosphere.
Each room has an office area (or dressing table, depending on your needs!) and practical storage (coat hooks in one, small wardrobe and luggage rest in the other).
The sofa in the living room can be transformed into an extra bed (140 cm), ideal for two additional people. It should preferably be reserved for those who have a more "roots" spirit and who like to fall asleep in front of a good Netflix series!
The bathroom, on the other hand, plays the retro-chic card:
Lion's foot bath, grey brick walls, cement tile style flooring...and welcome little extras: organic body and hair gel, cotton pads, cotton swabs. Comfort, down to the smallest detail.
The Green Library is an ideal refuge for:

Environment:
• Historic city center of Nemours 8 minutes walk away to discover its sixteenth century church, its castle-museum (temporarily closed), its local shops and its restaurants. You can also stroll along the Canal du Loing for a nice relaxing walk.
• The magnificent Château de Fontainebleau is 15 minutes away by car
• For lovers of the Forest of Fontainebleau: the Parc des Rochers Gréau in the neighbouring town of Saint-Pierre-lès-Nemours (6 minutes by car) offers you a good sample. You are also relatively close to superb spots known in the region: the forest of Larchant 20 minutes away and the forest of Trois Pignons 25 minutes away.
• Activities nearby: hiking, kayaking, tree climbing, climbing, hot air ballooning...
A perfect stay to disconnect... or log back in, it's up to you to choose.
House rules:
By booking this accommodation, you acknowledge that you have read the house rules and you agree to respect them, of course!
• Non-smoking apartment: no outside, so cigarette break possible at the bottom of the building, stairs included: a "cigarette/cardio" combo that doesn't say its name! When we tell you that everything is designed for your well-being ;-)
• Pets not allowed: we love them, so much so that we think they are better off in a house with a garden :-)
• Forbidden parties: we love them too, but it would be an insult to the library which invites more chill & relax aperitifs than loud music with excessive alcohol. Thank you for her (and the neighbors)! Calm must be respected between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Other remarks
Notice to all those who don't like to have neighbors over their heads: Building of 2 apartments, yours is the one on the 1st floor, the second, on the 2nd, is also rented in LCD. The first floor consists of a closed box for one vehicle.
1st floor without elevator: this is our only regret, the accommodations are not designed for people with reduced mobility.
