Whispering Sea - Hillside Apartment Sunset Town Phu Quoc

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The room is on the 12th floor, offering a stunning ocean view and city lights. The location is 10/10—it is right across from the iconic Kiss Bridge, and the view from the room is just spectacular. The check-in process was very smooth; we messaged the host, and they sent someone to meet us and show us to the room. The building is very convenient with restaurants and a mini-mart on the ground floor. It is also a very easy walk to the Cable Car station and all the great dining spots in Sunset Town. The space is compact and perfect for a couple. We especially loved being able to watch the fireworks twice a night (at 19:30 and 21:00) right from our balcony! The room also has great soundproofing, so it was very peaceful. Most importantly, the host and the team were amazing and very responsive. Thank you for making our family vacation so special!

The room is very lovely, though the bathroom could use a bit more deep cleaning on the walls and glass. Also, adding a floor mat and dish soap would make the stay 100% perfect. These are just small things. Overall we loved it!

Останавливались в апартаментах с женой — общее впечатление осталось очень положительное. Всё необходимое для комфортного проживания есть: небольшая кухня, холодильник, балкон. Отдельно хочется отметить вид — он просто нереальный. Каждый день наблюдали салюты, это действительно добавляет атмосферы и делает отдых запоминающимся. Из плюсов также — управляющий: очень отзывчивый и внимательный человек. При выезде он даже организовал нам бесплатный трансфер до аэропорта, что было приятно и неожиданно. Цена не из бюджетных , но оно того стоило, мы с женой остались в восторге

Из минусов — работа менеджера. Она часто задерживалась, редко отвечала на сообщения, и возникла странная ситуация: когда управляющий уже предложил нам бесплатный трансфер, менеджер при сдаче апартаментов предложила отвезти нас в аэропорт за плату. Это выглядело нелогично и немного испортило впечатление от сервиса.

We stayed here for five nights, including New Year's Eve. We were celebrating our honeymoon, and this apartment truly became the highlight of our trip. Thank you for making our stay so special! • PERFECT LOCATION This is an excellent base if you want to explore the southern part of Phu Quoc. We visited the island on the cable car, watched two amazing shows, and spent time at Khem and Sao beaches. While the Sunset Town area is a bit tricky to navigate on foot, there are electric bike rentals at every corner, which made getting around incredibly easy. • ​STUNNING VIEWS AND FACILITIES The highlight of the apartment is definitely the balcony! Located on the 14th floor of Hillside H2 Tower, it offers a breathtaking sea view. We could comfortably watch and hear both show firework shows right from our balcony. The guest card gave us access to great amenities: parking, a large gym, and the highlight - the rooftop infinity pool (though there are few sunbeds, you can use the benches). There are small shops on the ground floor, though for better prices, we recommend the Vietnam Select supermarket. • ​RELIABILITY AND STAFF We were especially grateful for the host's reliability. During the New Year period, many hosts on the island were overbooking or canceling last minute, leaving tourists stranded. This host is someone you can truly rely on! The communication with the owner and the butler via WhatsApp was wonderful - they were always making sure we were comfortable. Also, a big thanks for the flexibility of paying in cash upon arrival. • ​COMFORTABLE STAY The room is compact but well-equipped. It has a comfortable medium-firm bed with fresh linens, a functional kitchenette (stove, microwave, fridge, and plenty of cookware), and even a washing machine on the balcony. The Android TV and AC worked perfectly. The shower has a boiler, so hot water was never an issue.

• BEACH ACCESS AND NOISE RUMORS The only downside of the Sunset Town area is the lack of a proper swimming beach, but you can quickly reach Khem or Sao beach by bike, taxi, or the free bus near the cable car station. Regarding the construction noise mentioned in some reviews - fortunately, we didn't have any issues. The noise seems to only affect rooms facing the opposite side of the building. • ​VALUE FOR MONEY The price felt a bit high compared to other options. For a similar nightly rate, we stayed at a 4* all-inclusive hotel in the north of the island. However, given the peak New Year season and the quality of the view, we were still satisfied. • ​NOTE ON ATMS Finding an ATM nearby was a bit of a challenge. The nearest one is located right at the Cable Car station (near Starbucks), which is good to know if you want to avoid the 3-5% card commission.
