Overal, poor and stressful. Only few positives.
Only real good thing was the actual room itself wasn’t so bad - for the price tag. It was spacious and neat.
I normally don’t give bad reviews or any at all, unless I feel I really need to. This stay was somewhat of a nightmare. Owner didn’t give code to main door so we were stood outside in the cold waiting for it. We went to the room it was an absolute tip and the bed was slept in, then turns out they gave us the wrong room and code. So we had to wait again for the correct room and code. Finally got inside but the heater wasn’t working so it was freezing all night, I told them about this but they didn’t respond. Bed was just so poor. TV didn’t work either. WiFi was terrible, only worked for 5 minutes. Also they have no mention of the fact that the toilet, bathroom and kitchen are SHARED. You do not get your own in the room, they just make it look that way on the listing. Not only that but the whole apartment just feels so unsafe, dodgy area and the walls and doors are paper thin. The doors aren’t heavy or secure enough to really be considered safe. People say you get what you pay for, but I’ve had a stay at a £35 easyhotel which was way better and way smoother than this.

A great location if you are contractor working in Sunderland always nice to stay somewhere fresh and clean
