Massive house with plenty of beds.

Served our family gathering purpose really well and Michael the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Location near the sea and beach was excellent and whilst the house and outside terrace in particular are a bit in need of some tlc it’s a great place for a group gathering. We’d use it again.

Could do with somewhere inside to gather round a table to eat.

Perfect, quiet location for the beach and public transport to Sunderland and South Shields. Large rooms, comfortably furnished. The kitchen extremely well equipped.

No full curtains in front rooms to block the light. No scissors- i needed to cut flowers for my mums grave Sofa was truly uncomfortable- REALLY BAD No where to sit to eat - was 6 x adults no room drinks fridge didn’t work Not enough big pans to cook at home no bin liners

Perfect location. Lovely local cafes and little shop if needed. Fabulous house, very large comfortable rooms. Lovely to have outdoor space. Perfect for groups / families

Very nice house - would stay there again!

Very nice house. Many bedrooms and big beds. Kitchen with everything you need. Only downside for us what that there were two steps down to the kitchen from the hallway - as it made it hard for my one year old to easily walk around freely as I had to watch him so he didn't go to the kitchen alone (which you couldn't see when being in the bedroom or front room). However there is a door you can close to the kitchen if you need to. Which we did but he could open. Other than that, nice house and nice bathrooms with showers in both.

Very very cold kitchen. Not very nice to go into the kitchen in the morning for a cup of coffee when the floors were really cold and also the whole kitchen didn't have any heating.

Wonderful!

Location was superb. Roker beach was only a 5 mins walk away. Parking outside the house was free. There are many dog friendly cafes nearby and the views were gorgeous. Everyone was really friendly. The Roker Hotel bar was superb and had a good range of beers and their own Poetic Licence Gin! It is only a 5 mins walk from the air Bn B.

Only a small thing - the bathrooms could be bigger but it wasn't a real problem to us.

Excellent place! Highly recommend!

The house was lovely. Lots of space, wonderful kitchen and big bedrooms with the most comfortable beds. Michael was extremely friendly and good at giving information and keeping in touch. The neighbour that welcomed us was lovely too! Location was perfect - found the Stack down the road - food and drink place. It was amazing. Two minute walk from the beach! I'd highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Lovely comfortable house, very close to the beach and walking distance to shops & restaurants.

The owner was very helpful. He met us, showed us round and explained everything we needed to know. He advised we could contact him at anytime if we had questions or problems. The house was in walking distance of everything we needed. We also had good days out at Tynemouth & South Shields.

It would have been even better if there had been a dining room table. But we managed to eat on our laps in the front room.
