5 Roker Terrace - Seaview Apartments

We had a lovely stay and we will surely come back to stay again! The Lighthouse suite (Penthouse) has a beautiful sea side view in each and every room. It is so picturesque to wake up and see the sea through the windows first thing in the morning. Only naked eyes can capture its beauty, it can never be replicated by cameras. It has become one of my family's favourite apartment stays across UK! Each room was very spacious, with comfortable bedding, nightlamps and all ammenities including hair dryers, iron, fan, heating and towels provided. The only thing you need to bring is your shower gel and shampoo. There are 2 bathrooms in the Penthouse which is also a bonus. The kitchen was so tidy as well and being on the top floor (only stair access) helped make it nice and private. Even though the apartment is next to the main road, you cannot hear any sounds unless you open the windows. We only wished we booked this beautiful apartment for longer. Though this is a self-service apartment, Michelle was an excellent host, she was always ready to answer any of our queries and help. We did not feel abandoned at all. Thank you very much for your excellent service. We will make sure to book again!!

Nothing it was ideal.

The property itself was in the perfect location, lovely and clean and had everything needed for a long weekend away.

The bed was way too soft for my liking, and the blinds in the bedroom let in too much light. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable so the additional guest woke up a lot and it gave them back ache. I understand the need for the light in the small hallway, but it was extremely jarring. It would have been preferable to have a low light at night for that small hall. It was ok for a short stay, but we were glad we weren't staying any longer. The TV, being on wifi, had a long delay.

Great location, view was amazing! Decor nice enough!

Floor was sunken in the lounge! Felt like you were walking uphill, very uneaven! Pillows were awful, had to go out and buy Pillows! Carpets stained everywhere. 2 small towels for our 3 day stay, but were stained and looked dirty! Had to go out and buy towels! Hole in the floor in the bedroom right to the floorboards.
