I Ahangama - 100m to Kabalana Beach

We had a lovely one-night stay at I Ahangama. It's a charming small property in a very convenient location. The staff were excellent - friendly, attentive, and always helpful. The food was good, and there is a small pool that's perfect for relaxing and chilling out. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

The only minor downsides were that the room curtains were not fully blackout, so some light came into the room early in the morning. The property is also located next to the railway line, so trains can be heard passing occasionally. In addition, the location was a little difficult to find as it did not appear clearly on Google Maps. Adding or updating the property's location on Google Maps would make it much easier for guests to find. These were only small issues and did not significantly affect our stay.

I have to rate this as one of the best properties I’ve stayed in thanks to hospitality of the staff . All our needs were taken care off and they all went above and beyond . The breakfast is absolutely amazing ! I would recommend this place to everyone . It’s ideally located and very close to the beach . I never write reviews but this property deserved it . I would stay here everytime !

The staff was absolutely amazing and made sure we had a great time. Special thanks to Urvinder. The rooms are modern, clean and wonderful. Very peaceful and next to the beach.

Nothing bad to say.

Wir waren die allerersten Gäste im Hotel und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist alles sehr schön gemacht, die Zimmer sind groß und schön eingerichtet, die Dusche ist top. Das Frühstück ist SO gut, wir haben gefühlt alles probiert und es hat alles hervorragend geschmeckt. Auch auf Extrawünsche ist der Koch eingegangen, denn wir mögen es nicht scharf und er hat immer daran gedacht. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und bemüht, jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt. Wir hatten kleine Kinder mit (1,5 und 2 Jahre) und jeder war total lieb zu den beiden. Es ist sehr kinderfreundlich! Wir haben und so wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist auch sehr schön, wir sind immer 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Kabalana Beach gelaufen.

Da das Hotel gerade erst eröffnet hat, gab es natürlich manche Sachen die noch nicht so funktioniert haben. Wir hatten zB kein Wasser, Kaffee, Wasserkocher etc. auf dem Zimmer. Auch gab es immer mal Probleme mit fließend Wasser oder der Toilettenspülung. Durch die Bahngleise kann es sehr laut werden wenn ein Zug vorbeifährt und der erste fährt morgens um 5 Uhr. Auch an das komplett verglaste Badezimmer muss man sich etwas gewöhnen am Anfang.
