TheNook

Melanie was there to greet me at the property, complete with chocolates and cremant to celebrate our girls trip! She was incredibly warm and welcoming on arrival and throughout the stay - thank you Mel, you couldn't have been more helpful <3 She left some recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in the nearby area and she said if we came back she would share some more of Düsseldorf's secrets! We loved Claude's wein bar in particular. TheNook was wonderful and had everything we needed: peace and quiet (on the weekend, there is a school next door so playtimes were joyful, but noisy), lovely comfortable beds with very nice duvets and pillows, and a beautiful sunny balcony for coffee. All the rooms are very well furnished, beautifully light and had lots of little touches like the slippers and lovely blue colour scheme. We used the kitchen mainly for coffee and breakfast but all the appliances (oven, hob, dishwasher etc) are super clean and modern. The location was great for walking everywhere, we didn't need the tram. It felt very secure and private. I would certainly come back in a heartbeat!

Nothing at all. Only one tiny improvement, the air freshener was noisy the first night so we moved it into the hallway! Some incense sticks or something silent would be better for those sleeping in the living room :)
