Living am Carlsplatz Apartment

Quite room, good bed, spacious room, good bathroom facilities

it was hot and there was no airco, rooms cannot not have aircos in these time and days anymore

Delightful apartment in a perfect location within old town Dusseldorf. I had asked for a room with a balcony and garden view. We were offered a choice of two. We chose a third floor apartment, Rm 49 although there’s no lift, the sky views, airy separate kitchen and balcony that ran the length of the apartment overlooking the garden more than made up for the stairs. Spacious and recently refurbished it was a lovely peaceful stay within easy walking distance of all the cultural highlights. With modern individualised tasteful furnishings, it felt more like an airbnb apartment that a hotel stay. The fab very popular Kontor restaurant and a good bakers were virtually next door and Lidl three minutes away. We had a really warm, genuine welcome from the lovely staff and would thoroughly recommend and return.

The room was narrow and there was no plug by the mirror in room 12. I could not open the drawer fully in the bedroom.

The location is great, very center and close to green spaces in the heart of Düsseldorf.

Discovering that we did not have the baby crib for the first night was not funny, and the reaction of the personnel was professional. The decoration looked night but there are issues in many details (e.g. door of the bathroom not stable…).
