Très beau appartement spacieux situé au rez de chaussée d'une grande villa Il est équipé d'un très beau mobilier, d'une superbe cuisine d'un vaste séjour avec une belle vue sur la ville de Machico et la montagne lui faisant face

Malheureusement notre séjour d'une semaine s'est déroulé sur une période de mauvais temps avec même un jour de tempête, nous y étions en début mars. Dans cette villa de deux appartements des pièces sont condamnées par les propriétaires Or dans ces pièces, la partie haute de leurs fenêtres avaient été laissées ouvertes permettant au vent tempétueux de s'engouffrer dans les appartements en faisant beaucoup de bruit et en baissant la température de la villa Deux nuits un peu difficiles pour nous, avant d'obtenir une intervention humaine pour fermer les vasistas

Super schöne Lage und traumhafte Aussicht auf der sonnigen Terrasse. Groß und komfortable Ausstattung vorhanden.

Es war abends bei niedrigen Temperaturen ein wenig kühl, da keine Heizkörper vorhanden sind. Aber alles vollkommen auszuhalten. :-)

What I liked: the location, the house amenities, the homeowners' prompt response in replacing a household appliance that had broken down, the beautiful views from the window, and the cleanliness.

What I didn't like: the property description is misleading. Nowhere does it clearly state that this is not the rental of an entire house. The house is divided into two separate units on the first and second floors, which are rented out independently. We were given the lower-floor unit, and it has several drawbacks. First, there is no actual parking available. The lower garage is occupied by the owners' belongings. We were advised to park our car on the street instead. Thank you very much for that. One of the main reasons I chose this property was the advertised private parking, only to end up parking on the street. When there are guests in the upstairs unit, you can hear everything — their footsteps, conversations, and general movement around the house. There is no good sound insulation. Unfortunately, during our stay, a particularly noisy Russian-speaking group moved into the upstairs unit and spent much of their time arguing, which made the situation even worse. My main recommendation is this: if you want proper parking and don't want to hear every step and conversation from the people above you, make sure to insist on renting the upper-floor unit.
