Mother River Stays -Stream Inn Shibetsu Honioi- Gateway to Shiretoko & Notsuke

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Shiretoko. Satomi, our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making guests feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the special Ochazuke (Salmon dish cooking) experience, which gave us a chance to learn more about local culture and made our visit even more memorable. The location was very convenient for exploring the Shiretoko area, and the accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Free parking was also a great bonus. Thank you for making our trip so special. The time we spent here will remain one of our favorite memories from Hokkaido!

建物全体の清潔感。 用意していただいている物のきめ細やかさ。 ウェルカムメッセージ、事前のお知らせなど、全てにオーナー様のおもてなしの心が感じられ、とても嬉しく温かい気持ちになりました。近くに野菜等購入できるお店や天然温泉もあり、とても良かったです。 炊飯器の使い方がわからなくて、電話連絡したらすぐに来てくれて対応していただきました。 人と人のつながりを大切にされているのだなぁと感心しました。

I had a wonderful stay here! The house was clean, spacious, nicely furnished, and well-stocked with condiments for cooking. It was also conveniently located with a convenience store, petrol kiosk, and onsen nearby, and served as a great base for exploring Shibetsu Town, Notsuke Peninsula, Shiretoko, and Akan Mashu. The host Satomi san was very friendly and helpful, and she kindly heated up the house before our arrival for our comfort, and showed us around to ease us into our stay. She also provided some restaurant recommendations upon our request, and we had a good mix of cooking our own meals and eating delicious food in Shibetsu. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an accomodation in eastern Hokkaido!

設備やがとてもきれいで清潔にされており、また十分な広さがあって、快適に滞在できました。コンビニ（セイコーマート）と日帰り温泉も徒歩１分のところにあり、とても便利です。日帰り温泉の喜楽来は21時まで営業しており、源泉かけ流しでトロトロの泉質で最高でした！ホストのSatomiさんにも、とても親切にしていただきました。トドワラも車で15分ほどなので、夕方と早朝の2回行くことができました！ぜひまた泊まりたいと思います。

夏は朝4時から日が出て明るいので、寝室２の方にも遮光ロールカーテンがあるとよいかと思います。
