Lovely accommodation, very close to the Shiretoko National Park. Very nice staff. Enjoyable facilities, including a lovely natural bath in the facilities. Restaurant open until 8pm inside the facilities, great after a day of hiking in the park!

Very cosy hotel. The rooms were japanese Tanami style and very presentable. Onsen was nice, and the proprietors were very kind and sweet.
Definitely need a car to stay, but that's just Shiretoko in general. It's decent for the area, but not exactly cheap

Staff were organized, detailed, and friendly.
My room was two doors down from the microwave in the hall. Because the walls are thin everything seems really loud - microwave beeping, room doors slamming all night until about 11:30 pm and then starting up as early as 4 am as people are getting ready for a day of hiking. Talking in the hall by the tea and water fountain and microwave outside of my door could just as well been right in my room it seemed so loud. Courtesy of fellow guests could have been better.
