Biển Ngọt Resort Phú Quốc

I honestly wanted to forget about this place, but Agoda keeps reminding me to leave a review, so here it is. We booked 2 garden view bungalows in February during the Tet holiday. It seemed like a great deal, and we were really looking forward to our stay. Unfortunately the accommodation we were given was nothing like what was advertised or what we had booked. Instead of bungalows located within the beachfront resort, we were taken to a very basic property about 50 - 100 meters away, next to an active construction site and a sewage canal. There was constant construction and machinery noise, and the nearby seawater appeared polluted with oil, how could we even swim in it? The manager told us that the construction noise would only be during the day and that we would still be able to sleep at night! However, that completely missed the point. We had booked a peaceful beachfront resort, not accommodation surrounded by construction. Although the rooms appeared clean, the mattresses were rock hard and far from comfortable. This was simply not the relaxing beach vacation we had paid for or expected. We arrived around 6–7 pm. The manager tried to convince us to stay for the night, promising that he would check the next morning whether another bungalow was available. However, we couldn't understand why this couldn't be confirmed immediately, especially since it was already evening and guests for that night should already have been assigned their rooms. We had no confidence that the situation would improve the next day. As a result, we decided not to stay and leave immediately. We spent the next several hours searching for another resort and didn't finally find one until around 10 pm. Our vacation got off to an incredibly stressful start. On top of that, the property refused to refund us, costing us more than *** for accommodation we never used. The financial loss was frustrating, but what hurt even more was that it completely ruined the beginning of our Phu Quoc vacation. We had been looking forward to this trip, and instead of relaxing, our first evening was spent dealing with an accommodation that bore little resemblance to what had been advertised. I hope this review helps future travelers make an informed decision. If you book here, make sure you know exactly which accommodation you will actually receive, not just what is shown in the listing.

Lovely bungalow right on the beach with sea view. Very clean and roomy. Sunbeds and beach very good, clean sea for swimming. A little bit but we knew that and wanted a quiet beach location. Restaurant and bar good but not brilliant but great location and bearing in mind price very acceptable, staff lovely. Ps River House restaurant up the road very good. Overall and bearing in mind price this is an excellent choice of you want quite beach access. We would stay again. Ps very good management

Kahe voodiga, aiavaatega tuba. Avarad nii tuba, kui wc. Puhas ja uus. Hommikusöök toimus rannas ja oli suurepärane buffe. Sai kasutada tasuta jalgratast. Resort oli otse rannas ja lamamistoole oli piisavalt, meri oli rahulik terve nädala, mille viibisime seal. Omanik oli väga sõbralik ja abivalmis. Koristati iga päev, vahetati rätikud ja saime pudelivee. Wc puudusid riputuskonksud ja toas polnud salvrätte. Jäime väga rahule.

The place is excellent looking and located at the wide beach. It's quite, everything is new, hot shower inside the bungalow, the room is wide. Their personal is great. Best price/quality ratio. We recommend!
