The Space:

Soul Haven combines lakeside tranquillity with modern comfort - a spacious four-bedroom home set right on the edge of Lake Rotorua, with generous indoor-outdoor living for groups or families. The heart of the home is the open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that capture the ever-changing water views. Light the wood-burning fire on cooler evenings, gather at the big kitchen island, or slide the doors open onto the expansive deck over the lake.

- LIVING AREA -

An open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen with floor-to-ceiling windows over Lake Rotorua, a wood-burning fire for cooler evenings, and a large island at the centre of the kitchen. Air conditioning and fibre WiFi throughout, with the deck and water just beyond the sliding doors.



- OUTDOOR AREA -

An expansive deck runs along the lakeside, with a spa pool positioned to take in the view and steps down to the water's edge. Two kayaks and life jackets are ready to go, and the lake stays shallow for about 150m out - perfect for learning to paddle, an easy swim or a quiet morning's fishing.



- PARKING -

Plenty of off-street parking on the driveway, with more on the street.



Guest Access:

You'll have the whole home and grounds to yourselves - all four bedrooms, the two bathrooms, the open-plan living, the lakeside deck and spa pool, the backyard and direct lake access. The two kayaks and life jackets are there for you to use, and there's plenty of parking on the driveway and the street.



The Neighborhood:

Soul Haven sits in a serene lakeside pocket of Ngongotahā, right on the western shore of Lake Rotorua - a peaceful, natural setting with the water at your doorstep and Mount Ngongotahā rising behind. It's a relaxed spot away from the bustle, yet handy to everything: ZORB, Skyline and the Rotorua Canopy Tours ziplines are all within about 10 minutes, the city's lakefront, restaurants and the Polynesian and Waiariki spas are around 15, and Te Puia and the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest a little beyond. Trout fishing, kayaking and lakeside walks are all right on your doorstep.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended out here - the lakeside setting is part of the appeal, and there's plenty of parking on the driveway and street. By car, ZORB and the Canopy Tours are about 7 minutes away, Skyline around 9, the Te Puia geothermal valley and the Polynesian and Waiariki spas roughly 16, the Redwoods about 22 and Rotorua Airport around 23. On the water, the kayaks are the easiest way to explore the shoreline.



Other Things to Note:

A few things worth knowing: the home sits directly on the lakefront, so children should be supervised at all times when outdoors. The fourth bedroom is a converted, insulated internal-access garage room with three single beds. There's a wood-burning fire and air conditioning for year-round comfort, fibre WiFi throughout, and two kayaks with life jackets for the lake.
