About this cabin rental

Either for a peaceful retreat in quiet solitude or as a jumping off point for climbing, canyoneering, biking, hiking and exploring, this is where your adventure begins. This cozy cabin directly bordering the park, has 2 trailheads nearby with one within walking distance. Observation Point, Cable Mountain and Deer Trap trails access the beautiful East Rim of Zion wilderness and contain the best views of Zion Canyon. Centrally located just 30 minutes from Zion NP’s East entrance, with Bryce National Park, Grand Canyon National Park and Escalante/Grand Staircase National Monument within a half days drive, makes this a perfect base camp for exploring the surrounding beauty.
If a more peaceful, restorative experience is what you are looking for, sip a glass of wine on the deck with views of Clear Creek Mountain in the distance and the beautiful sunsets of Southwestern Utah. At night, the clear dark skies light up with the many stars and constellations that make Southwest Utah an astronomer’s haven.
Take a leisurely stroll around the property on the self-guided nature trail with information about the common native plants and wildlife viewing from a bench overlooking the Zion NP Park property. In the Spring, we have counted 46 different species of birds that pass through on their migration north. Relax in the hammock located in the cool shady fenced yard and breathe in the clear mountain air and escape the summer crowds. This area is a hidden gem that needs to be experienced.
Visitors have unrestricted access to the cabin and it’s 1.3-acre property. The cabin has 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each and a fold out couch bed for 1, 2 full bathrooms with tub and shower and a full kitchen with all the necessary equipment to make your stay easy and comfortable, your home away from home. Washer/dryer for your use with laundry soap is included. Close by, the Ponderosa Resort offers many amenities, tennis courts, miniature golf, pool and jacuzzi. There's a daily fee.
