On Eagles Wings offers a stunning mountain escape with breathtaking views from nearly every room. Nestled high above the ridgeline, this spacious home combines comfort and elegance, creating the perfect retreat for families and friends alike.
The main level welcomes you with a bright, open living area featuring large windows that frame the sweeping mountain vistas and a cozy fireplace that invites you to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances and generous counter space, flows seamlessly into the dining area—an ideal spot for sharing meals and memories with a view.
Downstairs, you’ll find two primary suites, each with its own private bath and beautiful views, along with a convenient laundry area. The lowest level offers a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a bonus room bedroom with a second fireplace, making it the perfect space to relax.
Step outside onto the expansive decks to soak in the panoramic scenery—whether you’re sipping your morning coffee or watching the sun set behind the mountains, On Eagles Wings provides an unforgettable mountain experience. On the top porch you will find a propane fire pit surrounded by deck chairs to enjoy those crisp mountain evenings. Off the bottom porch you will also find a workout room to enjoy.

This home is located in the 4000 acre, Leatherwood Mountain Resort in Ferguson, NC. Our guests are invited to enjoy our Horseback Riding program where you can experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains pristine wilderness by Horseback (reservation required). You will have access to miles of hiking trails, mountain streams, stocked fishing pond, community swimming pool, playground and tennis courts, creek tubing (seasonal), on-site restaurant with active live music and event calendar (guest advised to check hours when planning meals).
Leatherwood Mountains has surveillance or recording devices on the property. Our neighborhood is very safe and our property very secluded. For added peace of mind, we have security cameras by the gated entrance and common areas. Individual properties may also have cameras on the EXTERIOR of homes. Please be assured they are not directed at private areas, hot tub porches etc.
