Personnel très sympathique lieu bien situé confortable et bien équiper avec une petite cuisine frigo micro-ondes et ustensiles de cuisine.

The location (halfway between the main bus station and the ferries, right next to the beach) is enough to make me come back despite questionable standards. I have stayed several times. Last time I was happily surprised to have a 4-bed room all to myself for two nights (a very chatty British barman ruined the two other nights). It was very simple but the privacy and private fridge (I was actually surprised it worked) were welcome perks. Same for the public kettle outside. On my last night, I was back to a large dark ground-floor dormitory in another building (I'd already been there before), which almost looked like a converted garage. This is a peculiar place because it is spread out between several buidlings and you never know what you'll get: on yet another occasion, I was allotted a bed in yet another building overlooking the beach and that was actually nice (hence the 5/10).

A lot of the place seems in disrepair or in suspended repairs. The 1st bed was quite creaky. If you sleep next to the 2nd-floor terrace, it is not possible to cook (but you can have a cold meal on the terrace) and you are more likely to encounter sulky (mostly alien) workers living there than cheerful tourists. The bathtub in the bathroom next to the ground-floor dormitory is in a sorry state, just like the common kitchen. Reception (in a basement convenience store nearby) is not easy to find.
