The traditional and spacious style was good to find in Los Cristainos where most hotels are modern and functional. There are plenty of restaurants close by, so the hotel not having one is no problem.
We were assured that the big tv in the room would get BBC programmes. We couldn't find them and neither could the staff member who came up to help. The bathroom window was impossible to open, although it had a handle and hinges. Staff knew about this but weren't concerned. The big door onto the balcony was faulty and didn't seal, allowing a lot of noise to come in - notably from a noisy bar nearby at night. There were signs that attempts had been made to fix it a while ago but it remained a problem. If we had been staying longer we would have demanded a change of room, or left. On departure, staff didn't seem to care.
