Ona Hollywood Mirage

Nice clean pool area and handy shop

Apparently people were broken into so we were scared after hearing that

This is one of the best hotel I’ve stayed in abroad. It’s central and a handy walk down to the centre. It’s on a hill so you may have to get a taxi back up, but that’s only €5. There’s entertainment by the pool everyday and those entertaining are so, so nice and energetic. Especially the small guy with the glasses who loves Lady Gaga. He’s an absolute queen, he is the main character. My favourite thing about the hotel is how spotless clean it is and the staff, they’re absolutely amazing and so so so accommodating. There was a mess up with our flights and I went down to reception at 9AM the morning we were due to check out that morning as we needed to stay another night. Hector sorted it all out for us and genuinely put us at ease. He’s honestly absolutely amazing, he was so so kind and was available to us throughout our stay even checking in once or twice throughout our stay. Myself and my family will most likely come back to Los Christianos next year and we won’t even bother looking at another hotel. Please give my regards to all the staff in Hollywood Mirage, the cleaners, reception, entertainers, bar staff, maintenance crew, Hector, they are all incredible and an absolutely credit to the hotel. Thank you so much for everything!

I loved everything about the property, no negatives to report!

The hotel is a little dated but with that the apartments are a really good size, probably the best we have had with 2 large bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs. Kitchen etc had everything we needed and the balcony facing the sea and quiet road was a bonus.

The apartments are a little dated but large. Our air conditioning failed during the stay but we were quickly given a fan and the A/C was quickly fixed the next day.

The location and the setting

Constant smell of cannabis smoke and the staff did nothing about it. We were told the cleaners would clean the room every 3 days and this changed to every 4 days. Our reservation included breakfast but they struggled to cater for gluten free as everything was cross contaminated.
