Stunning & Lavish Southbank Apartment with Carpark

The apartment is in a great location — peaceful without being too busy, but with everything you need close by. The furniture and amenities are a little dated, with some noticeable wear and tear, but the apartment was clean and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay.

If you’re travelling by car, be prepared for a long drive up to level 9 to access the parking. The parking arrangements can be a little confusing the first time, but you get used to them. Unfortunately, the remote for the boom gates and roller doors had a flat battery during my stay. Thankfully, the host rectified this quickly and efficiently. There were a few minor issues and quirks worth mentioning: * Front door: The key gets stuck and takes some effort to remove each time. The host advised that this is being fixed. * Door locking: The door needs to be manually locked when leaving, which was a little frustrating given the issue with the key. * Bathroom tap: The tap leaks if turned off completely, so you need to find the right position to prevent it from dripping. * Stove: Only two of the four burners were working. * TV: Many channels had poor reception and significant static, which seemed to be worse on windy days. * Sofa bed: The mattress is extremely uncomfortable and not really suitable for sleeping on, so keep this in mind if you’re travelling with more than two people. * Sleeping in the lounge: The roller blinds are sheer, and the morning sun comes straight in, so expect an early wake-up if you’re sleeping on the sofa bed. On the positive side, the host was very responsive, accommodating and quick to resolve issues. The apartment was clean and well-equipped with everything needed for the stay.

Great location.

The parking on the 9th level was a bit of as hassle, but at the end of the day it was made available. Only one set of keys is also a hassle when there is more than one person.

Location, location. The apartment's furnishings including bedding were comfortable, and no appliances or accessories left wanting. A bottle of wine waiting in the fridge was a lovely touch.
