- immaculate cleaning & attention + friendly service - very good AC / temperature - very good positioning : impossible to be closer to Canggu (this is Pererenan technically) without any cons.

Loved the location, the natural light, the peaceful environment!

Nothing it was perfect!

Nice secluded accomodation. The host personally received us and showed the appartment with private small garden. Overall the place was roomy and felt secure. For us it was a short stay only.

Unfortunately a miscommunication about the breakfast which was unfortunately not included.

It has a pleasant ambience. The place was clean and fairly quiet. Lighting and a/c and fan work well. The housekeeper was very responsive and courteous, as well as having a good command of English. The bathroom was clean and spacious as was the bedroom. The owners could add a coffee plunger to the equipment because I had to use a pot to make coffee. The Perenenan area is the classic young people’s tourist scene, with everything you could possibly want. Waranga Apa is good for a cheap indo meal, and there are coffee and bagel places nearby, as well as more expensive international places. The Artisan across the road is excellent for lunch, dinner and it has an upstairs work space. The proximity to the beach is only just short enough to walk with a surfboard, but the scooter traffic and lack of footpaths makes walking unpleasant, and so if you are a surfer, hire a scooter with a rack and join the ratrace. It’s not as we were told ‘a 6 minute walk’. It was 20+ minutes with a board.

What I really didn’t like was the very steep staircase to the top room. I am pretty old but very active and stable on my feet, but in bare feet those polished steps are very slippery and I felt unsafe everytime i used them, especially going down at night. To access the bathroom you have to use the stairs. I would not recommend the villas to anyone with balance issues or older people because of that. I suggest the owners either add another rail or put some non slip surfacing on the steps or ideally, both. There are no really suitable spaces for working apart from a small, not very ergonomic table in the bedroom, so if you are a digital nomad, the Artisan across the road is the place to go. There are no stools in the lower floor so you have to eat your breakfast standing up. A couple of nice Balinese chairs on the ground floor and in the bedroom would add a lot of comfort. A minor point was that the outer door key and the innner door key didn’t match. It’s nit picking I know but it was an irritation. Finally for those surfers leaving around 6AM, the laneway lights are still off. This makes dealing with your equipment, trying to find the key safe in the dark etc much more difficut than it need be. Suggest they are timed to go on a 5.30AM
