It was interesting to have the bar as the check-in desk. Having just stayed at Hanare by Tokyu Stay in Kyoto, I was expecting similar amenities, but this location had no free snack bar, coffee machine or free sake bar like their Kyoto counterparts (Both Hanare by Tokyu Stay and Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo-Karasuma had them). The in-room washing machine was the identical combo washer-dryer machine. Location was right next to the Ebisu station, which was extremely convenient and just a stop away from Shibuya and 2-4 stops (depending on line) away from Shinjuku, so very convenient to visit the hotspots without having to deal with the foot traffic from the stations regularly. There was enough sleeping space for all 3 members of our family, but was fairly cramped, so make sure you check the square-footage of your room before booking. Overall, still a great stay.

This hotel is new with perfect location as it is just opposite to the station, lots of food and coffee around, staff are all friendly with warm welcoming. The breakfast is great too. Only downside is you can hear the sound from train passing and cars on street as it is on the main road.

Great location near Ebisu station. Neighborhood was great with lots of restaurants. We loved having the in room washing machine. The breakfast was also very good.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the freshly cooked dishes you could order, and the bed was very comfortable with excellent blackout curtains for a good night’s sleep.
The only downside was that the room was quite small. It was difficult to open two large suitcases at the same time, so it felt cramped.
That said, if you’re travelling light or staying for a short trip, it’s a comfortable place with a great breakfast and a good night’s rest.
