Nawal Hostel

The manager was super friendly and a pleasant person! The location has this beautiful mango tree at the entrance and he got me one to try. The location is close to the water and to the dock, where you can also take the tuk tuk to the village (or walk yourself). It’s a quite location which is nice. The bed was clean and comfortable. The manager tried to give everybody their space when allocating people to rooms.

The WiFi didn’t work very well in the room. Also, the showers were quite dirty and some of them didn’t work properly, the water went towards the wall horizontally instead of going down vertically, so it was not pleasantly shower. It seems that the place has a lot of potential but is not being actively worked on. I was informed that there was breakfast every day from 8am for an additional cost but it was not there, but maybe I had to reserve the day before, I do not know about that

Locatie is even lopen, maar opzich je bent er ook binnen 10minuutjes

Staff were lovely, rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious!

Showers need updating. At one point only half of the showers were functional and only 1 had hot water. There isn’t much of a social vibe as the common areas are lacking, there is so much optional for the rooftop but it’s not setup well.
