Cozy Luxe Retreat Stylish 2 Sleeper Apartment

I loved the bathroom and how modern it was. The apartment is clean and you're provided with many kitchen items to make your stay very comfortable. Donné also provided a braai basket, if you were to braai with such utensils. It was a lovely quaint stay, where it was safe with the most beautiful view from the balcony!

The bedding definitely needs to be changed entirely. From the sheets, to the comforter to the pillows. You could feel just by touching them that they were old and worn out. This really made my stay not the most pleasant one. I experienced a fridge issue during my stay where it was leaking, most probably due to a cleaner mistakenly switching the plug off which led to me having to clean the entire entrance of a flooding floor, which took away time for me to actually enjoy Umdloti as I had planned to that evening. It was disappointing that no last run through checks were conducted because this was all avoidable. The pool not being operational was such a disappointment. Its not the hosts fault due to the complex being so big and one can see that many people reside there, however it was mentioned by the security guard that there are two pools on the property, we only have access to the one, however both are not operational whatsoever.

I liked the location and it’s near the beach. Easy to get uber to where you want to go. Has a washer in unit and a hanging rack. Just had to be careful with opening balcony door.

It’s a cute little home for one person. Two max if you’re a couple. I personally, couldn’t get over the smell of the sheets and comforter. It had a strong odor. I’m not sure if it from previous use or the moisture, but it wasn’t pleasant. Also a huge flying bug🪳visited at night, security was nice enough to get it as I was terrified.

Location is quiet great.

The road and area that our accommodation was on did not have water for 2 full days and electricity for about under 2 hours. The accomodation does not have alternate measures in places when such outages take place and so being without water for 2 full days really dampened our entire vacation spirit.
