Comfy, Freshly Remodeled Apt Near Nauvoo Temple

The apartment is absolutely what we look for in beauty and comfort. It is gorgeous! We had plenty of pillows and blankets, and just enough space for us all without feeling cramped or too far apart.

Since there is no grocery store close by, we struggled with getting food and the basic cooking essentials. For instance, we did bring our own tea, but thought that sugar was a basic ingredient in the kitchen. It was not. We did go to Dollar General, which turned out to be more expensive, for the very basic ingredients we needed. My suggestion would be to inform guests that the closest grocery store is 45 minutes out of town, so they can stop on their way in to buy the food they need. Also, during the off-season, only one restaurant is open, which increased our difficulty in getting food, especially for one of our girls who has strict dietary needs. Again, we would not have minded at all to stop at the grocery store on our way in, had we known we needed to do that. The parking is a little bit stressful to get in and out of. I imagine it would be worse if another car had been there. If there is a better option for parking, that would be great!
