Welcome to Sherman Peak Lodge, a one-of-a-kind mountain retreat in Montpelier, Idaho. Nestled on 20 private acres at the base of Sherman Peak, this authentic alpine lodge blends rustic log architecture with the space and comfort needed for large gatherings. Perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, and group getaways, the lodge offers unmatched privacy and direct access to outdoor adventure just minutes from Bear Lake.
The Lodge
12 bedrooms / 12 bathrooms (sleeps 29 in beds, max 45 guests)
11 private king suites, each with ensuite bath
1 bunkroom with four queens + private bath (leads into the master suite above)
Grand great room with stone fireplace
Loft sitting area with a Steinway piano
Dining hall seats up to 30 guests together
Fully equipped kitchen with industrial Wolf-style range, butler’s pantry, extra fridge & freezer
Outdoor Living
Private trail to a 2,000 sq. ft. mountain pavilion with grill, smoker, power, and lights
Stone fire pit for evenings under the stars (fires must remain inside the ring)
20 acres of forest, meadows, and direct trail access for snowmobiles, ATVs, and hiking

Radiant floor heating (no central AC – naturally cooled alpine setting with fans)
Starlink internet with strong coverage for work and streaming

4WD recommended in winter; sedans discouraged due to canyon roads
