Experience the charm of a classic A-frame cabin tucked in the peaceful Valley Hi community, just 12 miles from downtown Leavenworth. Hansel Getaway Chalet is a warm, vintage retreat lovingly maintained in its original style—a place where five generations of family have made memories. Today, guests can enjoy that same nostalgic comfort while relaxing in a cozy mountain setting surrounded by pine trees.
Inside, the main level features a queen bedroom, a fully stocked kitchen, a dining area, and a living room filled with natural light from large A-frame windows. A wood stove creates the perfect ambiance after a day of exploring. The upstairs loft includes two queen beds, a TV, and a private balcony ideal for morning coffee or stargazing at night.
The lower-level game room offers endless entertainment with a pool table, ping-pong, foosball, darts, and extra lounge space—great for families and groups. A washer/dryer, free Wi-Fi, and Smart TV are also included for convenience.
Step outside to enjoy the forested surroundings from the deck or explore the quiet neighborhood loop. A community pond with floating docks is just down the road, providing a scenic spot for walking, relaxing, or enjoying a picnic. In winter and summer, bikes, sleds, and snowshoes are available for guests.
Pet Policy: Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Pets must stay off the furniture, be crated or taken with you when leaving the cabin, and owners must clean up after them.
Accessibility Notes: The cabin has stairs, a loft with older-style railings, and uneven rock steps leading up the hillside to the entrance. It may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or toddlers without supervision. A baby gate is provided for added safety.

The place was nice, the neighborhood quiet!! Was great sitting outside in the morning on the deck listening to the birds and the crickets and frogs at night!! Communications were quick and always made sure things were good and you had everything you needed for your stay!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Great deal and very communicative. When I arrived I was unable to locate the PIN to get in. I called and received it with no problems. They checked in with me to make sure everything was going well and to see if we needed anything. Thank you!!
