About this cabin rental
Welcome to Merry Cabin which is fittingly located on Merry Canyon Road. This adorable cabin is nestled on 3 private acres, just about 10 minutes out of downtown Leavenworth, towards Plain.
Offering a private, charming, and memorable atmosphere, the cabin will sleep 4 guests very comfortably, and is also perfect for that romantic and exclusive "couples getaway."
After a fun-filled day of adventure, come home and take a soak in the private hot tub and afterward, you can cozy up on the couch and watch the electric fireplace flames emanate throughout the room. The charm of the true log interior, coupled with modern rustic decor creates a warm and welcoming environment to relax and forget all about the day-to-day routines.
On the main level, you will find a bedroom with a king bed, a bathroom with a claw-foot tub/shower combo, a rustic yet fully equipped kitchen area including a microwave (no dishwasher here), and a cozy living area with a smart TV. If you head up the stairs you will see a king bed in the loft area.
Merry Cabin is secluded amongst the pines in a beautiful mountainside setting. You are welcome to bring your beloved dog, as this home is Fido-friendly with lots of room for your fur baby to run around and enjoy some fresh mountain air. What are you waiting for?

There are no security cameras in use at this home. There is an old camera system on the shed facing away from the house toward the driveway and it is disabled and non-functional.
The stairs leading to the loft bedroom are STEEP. Please consider this before booking and especially if you are planning on bringing children. This home is not childproof or kid-friendly.
There is a temporary AC unit in place during the summer months.
During summer, there is a burn ban that goes into effect for all of Chelan County when there is a high fire danger. During the ban, it could be that no campfires, use of charcoal briquettes, or any other form of burning is allowed.

While we do our very best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded at all times, winter conditions can change rapidly and make access both to and from challenging.
***We can`t stress this enough***
This driveway has a significant slope. When snow and ice are on the ground, 4WD/AWD vehicles, with good traction tires are necessary. Chains are recommended for all and a must for 2WD vehicles.
Please consider this when booking From November through April.
Please be prepared and plan accordingly.
If you are planning to visit during the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The weather can be unpredictable during these seasons and we hold firm to our cancelation policy.

We had a peaceful week at Merry Cabin. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The sweet covered sitting area out front with a little gas fire pit made it possible to be outside cozied up in blankets and a hot cup of tea. When the sun came out, we’d move to the picnic table to soak in the warmth. It was wonderful to be able to be outside no matter the spring-time weather. The hot tub was great and the cabin itself had all the right touches. There aren’t any paths through the woods from the cabin but you can walk the quiet dirt roads or drive to a nearby trailhead. Oh and the property manager was great. When the fire pit ran out of fuel, they came and replaced it within a matter of hours.

Cozy cabin in a peaceful setting. It had everything we needed for our getaway. They’ve made great use of the space. It sleeps 4, but might be a bit tight. Old Clawfoot tub is high to step in to shower. The stairs to bedroom in the loft are narrow so be aware of that. It’s a cozy loft space up there. Microwave placement on top of the fridge isn’t convenient for short people like me but I found a footstool there to use. Could use a new frying pan, but there was enough cookware to make do. We overall enjoyed our stay. It also is about 10 miles from town and roads could be difficult to pass without AWD or traction tires/chains. If you bring your dog, please remember to clean up after it. I was not thrilled to be cleaning up after someone else’s dog so we wouldn’t step in poo.

Although this property was clean and cute, let me start off by saying the location on ad said 25-30 miles from Leavenworth, but it failed to mention it was up a secluded gravel road. Upon arriving the cabin had a foul/musty odor. Ad said there were 2 portable A/C units, and thought that would be ok during this excessive heat warning, but instead turned out they weren’t portable A/C units but fans. The upstairs was even hotter of course being that heat rises to the top. We ended up staying one night versus the two nights we paid for.
